A delightful young couple wanted their girls to have a beautiful, magical space to play, hang out, and wander in. They also love hosting parties and welcoming their neighbors. They decided to say 'no' to the pool and 'yes' to a year-round patio and natural backyard wonderland.

 

A secret gate hidden beneath redwood branches opens to winding paths for roaming and riding, giant rocks to climb and jump from, sand to scoop and shape, oak tree swings for two, and tomatoes and berries and more to snack on.

 

Instead of going over to the community pool, now all the neighborhood kids come here to play and connect with their friends, while connecting with the great Lafayette outdoors.

 

And so do the adults!
